Description
This quality system model
and checklist are based on the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002, the
international quality management system for automotive-parts manufacturers.
The documentation model and
work files contain a quality manual, 63 operating procedures and work instructions,
as well as 78 templates and control forms. These templates and control forms assist with the correct use and application of established procedures and activities, and create evidence of compliance with
requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002. All documents are available as MS Word files (*.doc files) for the convenient
development of the quality manual and procedures according to your organization's
needs and operational activities.
For those who prefer flowcharts, mandatory documented procedures are also
available in flowchart-format.
The quality manual is structured
according to ISO/TS 16949:2002, defines the interaction of processes (flowchart), and makes reference to applicable operating procedures, work instructions or other documents. The procedures and work
instructions are structured according to the departmental activities and responsibilities
of Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Quality System
Administration and Management, Sales and Service, Toolroom, and Warehouse. In addition
to the mandatory documented procedures required by ISO/TS 16949, the
documentation model includes procedures for all requirements and it is up to the criteria of
your organization to document these procedures or to use them
as samples and guidance for the implementation of processes and activities
in order to meet the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002. The included control forms
ensure adherence to requirements, document results, and produce evidence of
compliance with the standard ISO/TS 16949:. Using
the detailed checklist ensures that the requirements of the standard are
addressed as applicable.
