About the program
|
The purpose of the MEAVISTA program
is
- to check your vision for symptoms of Macular
Degeneration
- to identify and outline an affected area
- to save results of performed checks
- to see the display of the previous test and monitor changes
- to see statistics of previous tests

The program includes an Amsler Grid
with 3 different optional backgrounds. The
selected option can be changed at any time.

Check each eye using the
selected Amsler Grid display.A blue
outline can be placed around a blurred area or an area with curved lines in
order to define and mark this area for the display of future
checks.
The blue outline can easily be updated as required.

| Results
of performed checks can be saved to history for statistics. There
are daily statistics for the current month and monthly statistics
for the last 12 months.

The
MEAVISTA program can be used by persons with normal conditions of
their vision and who have not been diagnosed with Macular
Degeneration or Age
Related Macular Degeneration. If you believe that your vision
is normal, just look from time to time – weekly or monthly - at
the Amsler Grid in the MEAVIST program. It takes only seconds, but
it will help to detect symptoms of Macular Degeneration.
If you already have been diagnosed with Macular Degeneration, it is
important that you check your vision frequently, if possible daily,
and report any changes to your eye doctor. The MEAVISTA program
helps to detect changes of a blurred area or an area with curved
lines which are a symptom of Macular Degeneratio.
